2011 Sparkling Rose

This rose sparkling is made from 100% free-run Cabernet grapes and is made in the traditional Methode Champenoise method. The well-know sparkling winemaker, Frazer Woods in the Margaret River actually makes this rose for Entopia using Entopia’s estate-grown grapes.

The grapes are hand-picked and the wine spends over 12 months aging in the bottle on yeast lees prior to being disgorged. It’s a great match for seafood and light meats, which means it would be absolutely perfect on your Christmas or New Years  table!

Colour: bright cherry red-pink
Aroma: vegetal with notes of capsicum, flint, a touch of sugar snap peas and strawberry jam on slightly burnt toast
Palate: red berries, watermelon and cherry ripe
Price: $25 per bottle / $270 per case

Drop into the cellar door any weekend and grab a mixed dozen for $210. Choose a combination of no more than 3 bottles of nay variety type (excluding the sparkling or fortified). That works out to $17.50 a bottle!
